Annalise Keating, a brilliant criminal defense attorny and a law professor, takes on a group of five chosen students as her interns.

A series of murders take place, but Annalise manages to protect herself and the group from harm. Helped by two loyal assistants and a relationship with a police officer who later becomes the DA she is always one step ahead of the FBI.
